...Telluride in the fall
Heading into Tellluride on the 145

Well, I've come full circle in Colorado. In May, I visited Telluride with a friend, and we found it breath-taking. We took the gondola ride up to Mountain Village, took in the views along the way, then came back and did a couple of hikes. We were captured by the beauty surrounding us.

Now, here it is September. I'm with another friend, and we've been traveling back and forth on the west side of the San Juan Scenic Loop, the Highway 145, and we made a trip into Telluride. The fall foliage seems to be at near-peak, but some say, "Not yet." We simply shake our heads and declare ourselves speechless. There are just no words to describe the brilliance and the masses of color....whole mountainsides for as far as you can.

Enjoy the photos which hardly do justice to the real thing. I wish everyone viewing these could see Colorado in the fall first-hand.
