Lucky for a Navajo family in Page that they have a slot canyon on their land. They call it "Secret Slot Canyon" and offer tours to it. It's a nice one, hidden some six miles east from Highway 89 in Page.

The canyon isn't as large as the Navajo Antelope canyons, but because it's considerably shorter, you return back through it. And that's not a problem because the return trip is a whole new view from the one going in.

I always remind viewers who may be visiting a slot canyon for the first time that the color seen here in these photos is not what you see to the naked eye. The colors come from how your camera reacts to the light. The tour guides are excellent about helping you set your phone camera to the best settings.
