The Sun Road
The Going-to-the-Sun Road crosses Glacier Park east to west and is one of the very few roads in the park.

This is what is called an arete, a ridge at the top of a mountain formed usually by glaciers that have melted on both the front and back of the mountain.

Chief Mountain
This is Chief Mountain which is just on the outskirts of the northeast border of Glacier Park. It rises to 9080 feet.

US-Canada border
Glacier Park borders Canada's Waterton Lakes National Park. The above photo shows the Canada side on the left (you can see a village) and the U.S. side on the right.

Thunderbird Mtn
Thunderbird Mountain peaks at 8790 feet and is located in the northwest part of Glacier Park.

Lake Ellen Wilson and waterfall to Lincoln Lake
Lake Ellen Wilson sits above Lincoln Lake. Beaver Chief Waterfalls drops nearly 1300 feet to Lincoln Lake below. Many of the waetrfalls in Glacier by late summer/early fall are little more than dribbles.
