I've not done a lot of traveling in Wisconsin, mostly just driving through from one state to another.

But a trip to Door County on the Door Peninsula was special as was a kayaking trip on Lake Superior near Bayfield. Here are pictures from those trips.

Bayfield

I was in Racine for such a short time. Just dropped in to see the Wind Point Lighthouse and beach. This is the only shot I got. It is such a serene setting, I had to share. Wind Point Lighthouse is one of the tallest and oldest lighthouses on the Great Lakes that is still active. At 108 feet, its light could be seen for 19 miles, and its foghorn, which was inactivated in 1964, could be heard for 10 miles. It began operation in 1880.
