Leesylvania State Park is in Woodbridge, northern Virginia in Prince William County. The 500-plus acres was the home of the well-known Lee and Fairfax families.
It's nestled on the shore of the Potomac River on a peninsula that is also bordered by the Neabsco Creek and Powell's Creek. It has various water, picnicing and hiking amenities and is especially grand in the spring with a vast number of cherry and apple blossom trees.
It is listed on the National Register of Historic Landmarks.
