Chateau de Chillon is one of the most popular castles in Switzerland. It sits on the north shore of Lac Leman (Lake Geneva) and dates from the 12th century.
It's one of the most intact castles around, and each of the 28 rooms makes it easy to imagine what life was like when the castle was more than a tourist attraction.
