This is where it's happening in Colorado. The Roaring Fork Valley is a narrow strip of land that runs roughly northwest to southeast from Glenwood Springs to Aspen. In between are two major rivers, the Roaring Fork and the Crystal; a handful of spectacular mountains including Mt. Sopris, Mt. Daly, Capitol Peak and the Maroon Bells; and the charming, picturesque towns of Carbondale, Marble, Aspen, Basalt and Redstone, not to mention the city of Glenwood Springs.
