My discovery of Salisbury Beach was on a "Let's see where this road goes" type of day. After leaving Hampton Beach and Seabrook, New Hampshire, I kept going. Having not studied a map, before I knew it I was seeing the Massachusetts state line sign. That would be Salisbury, the most northern city of the state.
It was early in the day, so the beach was not yet crowded. I took a few pictures, then dropped the cameras off in the car and grabbed my chair and book. It couldn't have been more perfect.
