Petite Venise, or Little Venice, is a relaxing section of the small town of Colmar where tourists and the like go for a good meal, a lazy ride on the Lauch River and a stroll among the willow trees and the seemingly centuries-old houses and restaurants that line the river banks, each gloriously bedecked with a plethora of brightly-colored flowers.
Colmar is located in the northeast section of France, very near the German border.
